Amadeus (1984)

Tuesday, April 21 at 4:45pm
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will forever be celebrated as one of the greatest composers of classical music.
Even though his music is still popular today, his life in 18th century Austria was a mess. When he wasn't writing or performing his music he would be drunk at a party.
This made one man, royal composer Antonio Salieri, very jealous of Mozart's talent and angry at Mozart's child-like behaviour. Salieri placed a spy, in the form of a maid, in the Mozart household in order to create Mozart's downfall.
Set in the last 10 years of Mozart's life, 'Amadeus' will stun you with classic performances of "The Marriage Of Figaro," "Don Giovanni" and "The Magic Flute," filmed in 200 year old Prague theatres, make you laugh at Mozart's energy and cry at the sadness of his death.
